Originally hailing from the Philippines, Vince earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kyoto University, Japan, under the mentorship of Professor Shiroh Futaki, with the support of the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. Following this, he embarked on a research journey to the Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) in Berlin, Germany, where he received the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship with Professor Christian Hackenberger. In his current role, Vince focuses on pioneering the development of cell-penetrating peptide additive strategies and the innovative delivery of intracellular protein-targeting single-chain variable fragment antibodies and nanobodies.
