Remmer L. Salas is a PhD student at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of the Philippines Diliman under the supervision of Dr. Ricky B. Nellas and Dr. Portia Mahal G. Sabido. His research interest is in peptide design and discovery. He obtained his MS in Chemistry from the same university, working on the palmitoylated derivatives of anoplin. He is a licensed professional teacher and teaches Chemistry at Visayas State University, where he also obtained his bachelor’s degree.
