Mr Ivan Maslov is a current PhD student in the Department of Pharmacology at Monash University. His research interests include peptide synthesis and its applications in cardiovascular pharmacology and diabetes treatment. As a part of the Macro Therapeutics Lab, he creates new peptide compounds as novel ligands for multiple drug targets within the RAS. His main research goals are visualising Angiotensin II type 2 receptors in animal tissues and designing ACE2 binding peptides.
