- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Linh T.T Nguyen is currently a final year PhD student in Craikâs group at Institute for Molecular Bioscience, the University of Queensland, Australia. She earned her Bachelor of Biotechnology at Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Hanoi, Vietnam in 2010 and Master of Biotechnology (Research Extensive) at the University of Queensland, Australia in 2016. From 2/2011-12/2014 and 1/2017-9/2019, Linh T.T Nguyen was a full-time Researcher/Lecturer at Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Hanoi, Viet Nam. Her research focuses on (1) plant molecular farming/pharming, the discovery of plant peptides for the development of products applied in agriculture and drug design, (2) using the latest genome editing technique CRISPR/Cas9 to study functions of genes and improve crop quality, (3) plant cell, tissue, and organ culture technologies aiming for micro-propagation, crop production, and genetic manipulation of plants, and (4) plant biotechnology with an emphasis on using molecular genetic methodologies for genetic analysis and breeding programs of plants, developing and using transformation systems to improve the disease resistance and quality of plants.
