Sameer Kulkarni
The University of Sydney, NSW, Australia
- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Sameer obtained his PhD from the University of South Florida, USA. During PhD, he primarily worked on the identification and synthesis of anti-cancer agents using a click chemistry approach. After a postdoctoral stint with Prof. Jeffrey Bode, Sameer moved to Australia and joined Prof. Richard Payne’s group at The University of Sydney. His projects in the Payne group involve (a) application of Se-mediated ligation methodology for the synthesis of therapeutic peptides and proteins bearing site-specific post-translational modifications (PTMs) and (b) Late-stage modification of selenoproteins using a novel photocatalytic methodology.
