Dr. Karin Rustler studied Biochemistry at the University of Regensburg and obtained her doctoral degree (Dr. rer. nat) in organic chemistry for the synthesis and characterization of photoswitchable compounds for biological applications. During her PhD, she stayed abroad at Kyoto University Japan for several months to pursue a research project funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). In 2020, she joined Iris Biotech as project manager responsible for customers and projects in the Northern Part of Germany, Japan, South Korea, Skandinavia, the Baltic States, Spain, and Portugal. Besides, she is active as head of marketing and sales of Iris Biotech.
